On MAY 9 - 10, 2026, the Finance Division of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University organized a training course titled "Techniques for Correct Government Accounting according to Government Accounting Standards" (Batch 3) at the Trang Hotel, Bangkok. The event was attended by 20 financial, fiscal, and accounting personnel from various departments within the university. This program aimed to enhance operational capabilities in finance and accounting in alignment with government standards and to adapt to current fiscal regulation changes.

This project was initiated because the university prioritizes developing an efficient, transparent, and auditable financial management system. It aims to reduce accounting errors, improve financial data accuracy, and elevate operational standards within internal units to align with good governance and government accounting standards.

Following the training, participants gained a better knowledge and understanding of government accounting standards and correct accounting methods. They can apply this knowledge to their actual work within their departments, resulting in more systematic operations that comply with established rules and standards.

Furthermore, the knowledge gained from this training helps raise awareness of accuracy, transparency, and accountability in financial operations. This leads to higher quality financial data and reports, effectively supporting administrative decision-making and raising the university's governance standards in the long term.

The results of this personnel development also lead to building a learning network among financial and accounting staff across various university departments. This creates an exchange of best practices and collaborative work process development, which is a key mechanism in driving the organization toward efficient, transparent, and sustainable management.

This operation aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Goal 4 (Quality Education) regarding skill development and lifelong learning for personnel, and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by strengthening an efficient, transparent, and auditable financial management system, which serves as an important foundation for sustainable organizational development.
