The Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Educational Personnel (OWPCTEP), Bangkok, announces the special reopening of applications for reinstatement of membership in the Teachers’ Aid Fund (Chor.Por.Kor – ช.พ.ค.) and the Teachers’ Funeral Aid Fund (Chor.Por.Sor – ช.พ.ส.) for the year 2026.

This opportunity is intended for former members whose names were removed from membership due to outstanding funeral contribution payments. Applications for reinstatement will be accepted starting from 2 March 2026 onward.

Applicant Qualifications

Must have previously been a member of Chor.Por.Kor or Chor.Por.Sor whose membership was terminated due to unpaid funeral contribution fees.

Must not have previously applied for reinstatement under the special reinstatement announcement issued on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Educational Personnel (announcement dated 19 May 2023).

Must not be among those whose membership termination was confirmed by the committee due to outstanding funeral contribution payments under the aforementioned announcement.

Payment Requirements

Applicants requesting reinstatement must make the following payments:

Application fee: 50 Baht

Advance funeral contribution: 100 Baht

Outstanding funeral contribution: at least 10% of the total outstanding amount must be paid. The remaining balance will be deducted from the family funeral assistance benefit upon the member’s passing.
