Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Drives Financial Security for Staff, Aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU) convened the Provident Fund Committee Meeting No. 2/2026 on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The meeting was held to review and track the management status of the fund, as well as membership intake and resignation statistics.

A major highlight from the investment plan distribution report shows that university personnel are placing significantly higher importance on financial planning. The DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Investment Plan saw membership grow to 63 active members out of 974 total fund members—a remarkable 1,475% increase compared to February 2026, when only 4 members were enrolled. This surge demonstrates the success of PR campaigns encouraging personnel to recognize the value of active investment management and long-term savings.

Alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The management of the SSRU Provident Fund directly supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals:

SDG 1: No Poverty – Encourages wealth accumulation for retirement security, mitigating financial risks after completing active career years.

SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – Reduces financial anxiety and promotes financial well-being, fostering better mental and physical health in the workplace.

SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – Enhances employee benefits in a concrete manner, creating a stable, high-quality work environment.

"The university remains committed to empowering all personnel with smart financial planning to build a secure and sustainable future together."
