✍️SSRU Finance Division Drives Provident Fund Success, Elevating Financial Stability and Quality of Life in Alignment with SDGs

The Finance Division of the Office of the President at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU) continues to advance staff welfare and quality of life. In its latest Provident Fund Committee meeting, the university highlighted its success in promoting long-term financial stability through transparent governance, driving the organization toward United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 13:00 to 16:00, the Finance Division hosted the Provident Fund Committee Meeting No. 1/2026 at the Bannasrom Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Office of the President. The meeting was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, who presided as the chairperson. Committee members attended the session in full to oversee, monitor, and propel the fund’s operations toward achieving maximum outcomes.

Tangible Outcomes Aligned with SDGs

The committee reviewed the fund's annual performance, which reflects the efficiency and success of management practices prioritized around member benefits. The key milestones achieved align directly with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in two main areas:

1. Promoting Decent Work and Financial Equality (SDG 8 & SDG 10)

Throughout the fiscal year 2026, the Provident Fund focused heavily on promoting long-term savings to provide concrete financial security for its members.

Tangible Results: A total of 69 provident fund members officially requested to increase their contribution rates. This proactive step underscores enhanced financial literacy and a strong commitment to long-term wealth building among university personnel.

2. Strong Governance, Peace, and Justice (SDG 16)

The university maintains rigorous standards of transparent and accountable management. Consequently, the fund’s corporate governance evaluation received an "Excellent" rating consecutively, reinforcing trust among members and all stakeholders.

"This meeting goes beyond internal management planning. The actual outcomes reflect our positive achievements in boosting staff welfare while steering the organization under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework. This establishes a resilient and sustainable financial foundation for the personnel of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in the long run."
